ZAP Electric Truck Displayed at Largest Mall in America
This Earth Day ZAP has some fun photos to share of its XL Truck displayed at the largest mall in America. Thanks to Jay Sitter, fleet sales manager for The Electric Vehicle Store near Minneapolis. He sent in these photos of the ZAP electric truck at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Jay and company are pioneers for electric vehicles in the Twin Cities. They arranged to have a ZAP truck on display for the several weeks near Camp Nickelodeon, the payload of flowers emphasizing the green-ness, utilitarian value and attractiveness of an all-electric plug-in truck
Jay says the Mall of America gets 40 million visitors a year and the location near the roller coaster gets 40-50 thousand people a month. The ZAP Truck is part of a “Go Green” theme for the mall, which has gone on for several weeks. Thanks to Mall of America for showcasing real Eco-solutions in the form of electric vehicles.
The Electric Vehicle Store started in the electric scooter business in July 2007 but that grew to include electric cars and trucks. They enjoy helping people learn that plug-in electric vehicles are indeed a reality and are being sold to green and economy-minded businesses, schools and government organizations. Best wishes to Jay, Carl and the rest at The Electric Vehicle Store.
